I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I've just about recovered from mine. Every year, I take part in my church's Turkey Bowl, which is a grand name for a few hours of touch football held at a local field Thanksgiving morning. As usual, it was muddy, so I spent the morning slipping, sliding and alternately flattening my friends and getting flattened by them (more the latter, regrettably

). This year, I brought several of my neighbors along for the fun. I look forward to it every year--it's one of my favorite things. Add in a great Thanksgiving dinner and fun times with my family--most of which live here in Woodbridge--and you've got a great Thanksgiving day. Now on to Christmas!
So, with the holidays and associated craziness, I've gotten a little behind in my blogging. So, here's another sneak peek! This time it's a few photos from Caitlin and Alex's beautiful wedding at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Capitol Hill. After the ceremony, Caitlin, Alex and I, with help and generous chauffeur service from Caitlin's friend Stacy headed out to take some portraits that captured some DC spirit. One of the shots, this one from Union Station, is below. The others can be viewed at the
Ben Rasmussen Photography Facebook page.
