As I mentioned in my previous post, Caroline & Ben had an awesome wedding at the Ox Hill Baptist Church in Chantilly, Virginia. As evidence, I present a few of my favorite shots from the day:
First up, a few portraits and group shots that we took before the ceremony:
And here are a few from the ceremony. I got a little misty while working on the second one. I'm a sucker for crying at weddings
The first kiss!
Ben was recently commissioned as an officer in the Navy, and they were honored with a sword arch after the ceremony:
We headed back in to the church to take some family portraits. Caroline's family is delineated into two groups, the Crips & the Bloods. Bloods are born into the family, and Crips marry in. At family reunions games and contests are held pitting one side against the other. Things quickly turned ugly:
After order was restored, Caroline, Ben and I took a little while to get some portraits with just the two of them:
Mmmm, backlight:
And lastly, here's a few from the reception, held at the Fairfax Marriott at Fair Oaks:
Thanks & congratulations, Caroline & Ben!
