While shooting Dan & Kristin's wedding, Gary and I ran into Liz and her fiance Gus. Liz is a friend who we used to work with, so we were excited when she asked us to shoot her wedding. We had a great time shooting their wedding--we knew half the people there! Here are a few shots from the day.
Now, call me lame (or possibly weird), but I can't decide which of these shoe shots I prefer. When I was first starting, I focused a lot of my attention on still life photography. I really enjoy shooting the details (particularly the shoes and rings) because it gives me the opportunity to use a lot of that experience.
Here's Liz walking down the aisle with her mom and dad:
A couple more from the ceremony:
The kiss:
They had a flower and photo arrangement in honor of some loved ones who have passed on and really wanted a good photo of it. I love how Gary's shot below, incorporating the arrangement with the actual ceremony, really shows how much a part of the day these loved ones were.
The happy couple:
The little boy in this photo was having none of this photo-taking stuff. The girl was trying to help him. Even with him fighting her, she still managed to smile and look at the camera--that's dedication!

Reactions to a particularly funny and/or embarassing part of the video presentation:
Not the first dance, just one of many:
Congrats and thanks to Liz & Gus!
