A couple weeks ago Gary and I shot our friend Dan's wedding. The ceremony and reception were held at the awesome
Top of the Town in Rosslyn, VA overlooking Washington DC. The ceremony was performed by another friend who announced that the state of Virginia had only authorized him to perform one wedding--he was pretty funny. Everyone was really cool and we had an awesome time. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.
The rings, the shoes, the cake:
A couple of the formal portraits:
There was this great hall with great light that we weren't able to spend much time in, but we managed to get a couple shots. Here's my favorite (although this smaller version is a little softer than the original):
This shot of Dan tucking a financial gift in his pocket cracks me up:
Two of Kristin's cousins. I love the helping hand of the older brother (at least, I assume they're brothers...) in the first one, and the pure joy in the younger brother's face in the second:
Thanks and congrats to Kristin and Dan!
